The only problem is that he would need to complete Ranni the Witch's quest line to get Tiche's ashes. It wasn't until leaping through its Elden Ring Runes various hoops and getting to the boss that unlocked Tiche that Iron Pineapple realized he couldn't draw help, stopping him from getting Tiche making the whole excursion ineffective.
"I probably spent the longest time with the Godskin Duo," Iron Pineapple declared. "For a while I believed that if I healed effectively enough and was lucky in terms of attack patterns, then I could get it done. Of course, I ultimately took the torch and insomnia instead."
Unsurprisingly, Iron Pineapple also used the Mimic Tear, which acts like a duplicate of your character. It can be used as a stand-alone summoner as it is the most versatile of Elden Ring's summons after its nerf in the 1.03 patch. Iron Pineapple spent much of his pacifist run looking for other ways to cause damage, but when the moment came to shove it was impossible not to be aware of the capability to design a custom sidekick. As such, he resorted to using the Mimic Tear to defeat many of the difficult, end-game bosses.
"I had a feeling that the Mimic was going to be extremely strong right from the beginning, which is why I took the deliberate decision to not to play it for the sake of diversity," Iron Pineapple said. "It was pretty fun to show the various niches and strengths of some of the summons that are available in the game, and to treat challenges like puzzles to solve rather than simply winning by simple stats. Therefore, in the end, I was a little disappointed in the way that the Mimic still is even with the changes."
Iron Pineapple's peace-loving run is yet another illustration of the ways Elden Ring Runes buy retains the strategic openness of its Souls predecessors. With expert knowledge of the tools, techniques and resources to your disposal it is possible to win the game by using almost every strategy in the book. There's a chance that you'll hit an obstacle there and then. Iron Pineapple sure did. If there's a lesson to take away from a traditional Elden Ring playthrough, it's that everything can be overcome by being a bit stubborn.
